Wall-Mounted Battery for Home Structural Overview
The 51.2V 300Ah wall-mounted battery system is built by engineers using the high-capacity LiFePO4 modular architecture. They then pack prismatic lithium cells into a 16-series to create a stable high-voltage DC pack. The internal modules are then attached to a reinforced metal backplate by the technicians to stabilize the walls and distribute the load. In the meantime, insulated busbars are fitted to interconnect cell groups and keep them electrically isolated. Once the structure has been aligned, the system enters the enclosure integration and electrical assembly phases.
Battery Material System and Internal Composition
The cell system is based on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry as used by manufacturers. The cathode is composed of LiFePO4 active material deposited on aluminum foil, and the anode is made of graphite carbon deposited on copper foil. Moreover, a microporous separator is inserted between the electrodes to regulate the flow of ions and avoid short circuits. In addition, lithium salt-based electrolyte solutions in organic carbonate solvents are injected under controlled moisture conditions. A Battery Management System (BMS) is an integrated component of the engineers that continuously measures voltage, current, temperature, and state-of-charge.
