Overview
The single-slot Li-ion battery charger (KYSCH40 series platform) is designed by engineers based on an independent charging channel architecture. They initially set up one cradle bay to carry cylindrical lithium cells with stable contact terminals. Thereafter, an electrode system with springs is installed to adjust to varying lengths of the cell and ensure constant pressure. Meanwhile, a microcontroller unit controls the logic of charging and constantly varies the output current depending on the observed battery condition. Once the structure has been assembled, the charger is then subjected to electrical calibration and safety checks.
Electrical Control and Charging Logic
Manufacturers use a CC/CV charging algorithm to control the voltage and current throughout the entire charging cycle. Moreover, lithium-ion battery voltage characteristics are automatically detected by the system, and then the charge flow is initiated. Moreover, temperature feedback circuits are used to check the thermal conditions in real time.
