2600mAh Battery Pack Lithium Ion Structural Overview

The Removable Batteries (18650-based 1P2S) are assembled by engineers in a controlled series-connected architecture. They first pick two identical 18650 cylindrical cells with identical capacity, voltage curve and internal resistance properties. They then fix the cells into a fixed 1P2S electrical structure with uniform polarity orientation and mechanical separation. In the meantime, technicians insert the cells into an insulating holder, which stabilizes geometry and restricts the displacement caused by vibration during assembly. Once they are positioned, they then prepare the module to be interconnected and integrated into protective circuits.

Cell Chemistry and Internal Material Composition

Each lithium-ion cell is built by manufacturers with a layered electrochemical system that consists of a lithium metal oxide cathode and a graphite-based anode. Moreover, they place a microporous polymer separator between layers of electrodes to ensure ionic movement and avoid internal short circuits. In the meantime, operators weld electrode tabs with ultrasonic or resistance welding to provide stable current conduction paths.

Formation Cycling and Standard Compliance Control

Controlled formation cycling is done by operators to activate electrochemical interfaces and stabilize internal SEI layers. They then perform aging tests in controlled temperature conditions to test voltage stability and impedance stability. Lastly, electrical verification, insulation resistance tests and structural checks are done by quality inspection teams.
